Give clients one page with your firm’s name in the address, such as /drop/smith-law, where they can send documents and information whenever they need to. Limit it to approved senders, sort by practice area with topics, and receive files of up to 2 GB per submission.

Talk a matter through with a client in an end-to-end encrypted chat: messages, masked credentials, and files. Add a paralegal or colleague as a co-host. When the chat closes or its time limit passes, it is erased for everyone.

Records and retention
Squawk Secret erases what you send and receive on a schedule you set, which keeps sensitive information from piling up. Anything that belongs in the client file, such as a completed intake form or a signed PDF, should be downloaded into your document management system before it expires, and preserved there if a matter is under a litigation hold. Squawk Drop items can be kept for up to a year, and the audit trail of who opened what, and when, is kept for your records.
