Each secret is encrypted with AES-256-GCM using its own random 256-bit key. That key lives only in the link you share, after the # where browsers never send it in web requests or logs. We never store it, so a copy of our database can't unlock anything. When a secret is used up or expires, the encrypted data is wiped too.
