Questions

Do the people I send to need an account?: No. Recipients open the link in any browser. Only the sender needs a plan.
How do seats work on the Business plan?: You pay per seat. Invite teammates up to your seat count, and add or remove seats anytime from Billing.
Can I cancel?: Yes, anytime, from the billing portal. No contracts.
What happens to links I already sent if I cancel?: They keep working for recipients until they expire or are used up. You just can't create new ones.
What if a payment fails?: Your account keeps working while Stripe retries the charge. Update your card from Billing.
Why do you need a card for the free trial?: It keeps ${PRODUCT_NAME} from being used by throwaway accounts to send harmful content. You won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime before then.
Are there limits during the free trial?: Yes. To keep Squawk Secret from being misused by throwaway accounts, trials can create a limited number of secrets and requests per day, and file attachments are turned on when your paid plan starts. You can start your paid plan early from Billing at any time. Each card can be used for one free trial.
Why do you verify my phone number?: Along with your email and card, a verified mobile number confirms a real person is behind every account. We only text you for verification.
Is it available outside the United States?: Not at this time. Squawk Secret accounts are available only to individuals and businesses in the United States, with a US address, US mobile number, and US payment card. The people you send to can open your links from anywhere.
How do you take payment?: Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
Are there limits?: No limit on how many secrets you send. Each send can carry up to 10 files and 25 MB, be opened up to 100 times, and last up to 30 days. Requests stay open up to 90 days.
